CBG collects the email and display name you provide at signup, plus a hashed password. Session cookies (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax; Secure in production) keep you signed in.

Demo storage: the default deployment uses an in-memory user store suitable for demos. Data may reset when the server process restarts. For production, replace with a durable database (e.g. Postgres/Neon).
